For some users, mail merge actually works in Firefox, but not in Internet Explorer. When this happens, users get the SalesLogix 7.5.3 web error.

This can happen when the security is not set correctly in Internet Explorer. Check these settings:

1. From the IE toolbar browse to Tools > Options
2. Click the Security Tab
3. Click Trusted Sites in the zone select pane
4. Click the Sites button
5. Add the SalesLogix web site
6. Click Add
7. Click Close
8. Click the Default button
9. Drag the Security level slider down to low
10. Click Apply
11. Click OK
12. Close the browser
