Online social tools are simply part of (most of) our lives these days. Odds are you're either on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn, or all of them! Years back, social networks were completely separate from CRM applications but we've seen a serious shift in that as of late.
Towards the end of 2011, Microsoft Dynamics CRM put out a service
update that introduced a social component to CRM via Activity Feeds.
These Activity Feeds gave us the ability to micro-blog and collaborate
socially from within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
The next service update, coming in Q2, provides additional functionality and stronger navigation to view what is most relevant to the user.
Here we'll be able to filter for whatever we are looking for without scrolling through lots of data. For example, we can search specifically for posts that relate to ourselves, or our specific teams.  In essence, we can create timeline views of the records we are most interested in.
Microsoft has also decided that it likes Facebook's concept of being able to "Like" a post and has added a similar version to CRM allowing you to "Like" or "Unlike" posts in your Activity Feed. Does anyone think this will be beneficial?
